Griffith City Council built their new vehicle workshop in 2016, at 32-24 Jensen Road, Griffith NSW. The project was a massive undertaking that involved demolition of the existing shed, clearing the ground, excavating a very large pit for the underground workshop and then erecting the Workshop shed, Mezzanine and offices on top.
Once the groundworks and concreting were done by others, Asset Building was involved in building the Industrial Shed/Workshop structure. This included the main shed frame and sheeting which was 48.6m x 14.4m, with a section that is 26m wide, totalling 916sqm of space, plus a mezzanine floor, internal dividing wall and windows and doors.
With an excellent truck pit, offices and mezzanine, this Industrial truck workshop is superbly placed to provide for the council’s servicing needs into the future.
